How to remove / uninstall:

If you are unable to locate the Wajam uninstaller on your personal computer, you can download the uninstaller here.

On Windows:

Here are two ways to remove Wajam from your computer using Windows.

Wajam Uninstaller

  1. In the Start Menu, go to All Programs->Wajam->Uninstall Wajam
  2. Click "Uninstall"
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
  4. Wait for the installation process to complete.
  5. After the uninstaller has finished, close it.
  6. Clear your browser cache to ensure that no remnant information from Wajam is present.

Windows Control Panel

  1. Open "Start" menu
  2. Click on "Control Panel"
  3. Click "Programs" > "Add/Remove" or "Uninstall"
  4. Select "Wajam"
  5. Right-Click and select "Uninstall"

Chrome Extension (when installed from the Chrome Webstore only)

  1. Open the Chrome browser
  2. Click the Tools menu"
  3. Select Extensions
  4. Click Disable or Uninstall

Cookies

  • Cookies containing PII (Personally Identifiable Information) may remain after the uninstall process. The remaining Wajam cookies can be removed following your web browser help file directions.

On Mac OSX:

In Mac OSX, you can remove Wajam directly from your browser. This video steps you through the process starting with Chrome, then Firefox and finally Safari.

Chrome

  1. Open the Chrome "Settings" menu
  2. Open "Extensions"
  3. Click on the "Trash" icon

Firefox

  1. Open the "Tools" menu
  2. Select "Add-ons"
  3. Click "Remove"

Safari

  1. Open the "Preferences" menu
  2. Select the "Extensions" tab
  3. Click "Uninstall"
